SHIP SPANISH PLAY WEST NEW ORLEANS, La., March 14. Spanish Play, the crack four-year-old which will carry the Knebelkamp and Morris colors in the Agua Caliente Handicap, was loaded and departed for the West coast track at midnight Saturday. He went in charge of trainer C. E. Gross, who was accompanied by C. H. Knebelkamp and jockey Charles Landolt, who will ride Spanish Play in the 0,000 race. Trainer Gross acquired Jean Desaible from W. H. Blanton and took that horse along as a companion for Spanish Play. Jean Desaible will be disposed of at Agua Caliente. Marion McGoriigle, who will be in charge of the Knebelkamp and Morris stable during trainer Gross absence, has taken a call on Jimmy McCoy for the Louisiana Derby in which the stable will be represented by Hoops. H. Tinker, second of the stables riders, is confined to his apartment, victim of a heavy cold.
