RACES FOR CHARITY MIAMI, Fla., March 14. A request has come from the Maryland Racing Commission to the four tracks racing in Maryland to again set apart one day at their meeting as a charity day. Bowie has designated Thursday, April 14, as their charity day, and the following day, Friday, may be charity day at Havre de Grace. Something like 25,000 was realized last year by the different associations, which amount was turned over to the fund for the unemployed.
