LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS Jockey G. Elston made a big gain on his rival, J. Gilbert, by riding thirteen winners last week, but he could not quite catch up. The difference between them at the end of the week was only three winners, seventy-three to seventy. Elston has the high winning percentage of .26. "Hank" Mills continued to make great headway, riding ten winners and increasing his total to sixty-four. His winning average is .24. S. Coucci rode ten winners, jumping his total to fifty-two. Other jockeys that fared well are G. Smith, C. Landolt, J. McCoy, D. Meade and J. Longden. The latter rode nine winners. The 1932 records of the thirty-four leading American jockeys follow: Jockey.
