John T. Ireland, Julius G. Reeder and Ji John King will serve as stewards; Charles c Campau, Clifford Abbo and Richard Leigh, p placing judges; Reeder, racing secretary and h handicapper; Leigh, assistant racing secretary tz and handicapper; G. R. Wingfield, , !. starter; Earl W. Newman and Thomas Day, patrol judges; William Dangman, entry T" clerk; Charles Wilson, paddock judge and timer; Campau, clerk of the scales, and William Hudson, track superintendent. Program books for the first eight days of t the spring meeting opening Saturday, May 21, were released to horsemen today by r racing secretary Reeder. A large number of stables go direct to Bainbridge from here, while others will move on to the Ohio course J after campaigning in Maryland, Kentucky and Illinois. The quality of horses assured f for . the meeting is considerably higher than l in any previous season since the opening of 1 the track.
