I BELMONT PARK TURF NOTES s e J. H. Louchheims Sandy Bill has been retired for the season, according to trainer C. Buxton, and will be shipped to Columbia, S. C. Trainer Bill Knapp arrived from Chicago with the Mrs. John Hertz horses, ten in number. James Fitzsimmons has thirty-three yearlings owned by the Belair Stud, Wheatley Stable and H. C. Phipps at Aqueduct. They have been given their preliminary racing lessons. E.J. Hodgson has opened a public stable at Jamaica and has the promise of several well thought of horses for the winter. Fairenos next engagement will be in the Lawrence Realization Stakes, according to James Fitzsimmons. James Fitzsimmons, Jr., is in the market for several selling platers for a South American purchaser. Emil Herz was among the arrivals and will stay for the remainder of the season. Cito, which was named by Gwladys Whitney for the Great Neck Steeplechase, is a half-brother to her husbands champion Equipoise.
