HEAD PLAY MUCH IMPROVED CRETE, III., Sept. 6 Head Play, Mrs. William Crumps good two-year-old chestnut son of My Play Redhead, which won the Cincinnati Trophy at Latonia and the Hawthorne Juvenile Stakes at the Cicero course, has completely recovered from a mild illness with which he was stricken towards the latter part of the Hawthorne meeting. The colt ran a temperature for a brief period and trainer William Crump was fearful that he would have to lay him up for a while, but he came out of it in nice style.
