1 LINCOLN FIELDS NOTES Increased facilities for the dispersal of "daily double" tickets were in operation at Lincoln Fields Monday. Additional sales windows were added in both the general betting ring and club house. Sidney Bender, a visitor for the Lincoln Fields opening, was taken ill Saturday night and. forced to remain in his hotel room Monday. Trainer Clyde Van Dusen has taken first call on the services of jockey Bob Finnerty for the remainder of the Lincoln Fields meeting, effective Wednesday, at which time jockey Clarence McCrossen, who has been riding for Van Dusen for several years, takes his departure for Maryland with the stable of Mose Lowenstein. Van Dusen also has taken calls on Finnerty for the Latonia Championship Stakes, Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes and Breeders Futurity, the three stellar Kentucky fall features. Trainer C. H. Valentine advised track superintendent Tom Young that he shipped Kilmore, two-year-old chestnut son of Pillory Rose Vine, from Dade Park Tuesday. This colt has won five races within the past month. Trainer Ben Jones shipped the T. C. Wor-den stable to Tanforan Sunday. Jockey T. Shannon, who rode with "a fair measure of success at Hawthorne, will ride for Jones at the California track. D. R. Riddle will ship six horses here from Dade Park Wednesday, with other stables from the same point later in the week. Trainers licenses "have been issued to the following: Hichard McKeown, Albert Ket-chell, W. B. Pemberton, Thomas Fowler, J. P. Sallee and "Lawrence A. Connor. The latter resides at Long Island,. N. Y. He is the trainer of Pigeon Hole and Titus.
