The latter, hard urged to take command, raced CYRANO and SWEET CALL into defeat, then tired after" drawing clear. CROSSBONES was closing ground in the stretch. AMOURETTE raced wide, but finished gamely. CYRANO was used up early. RIVER LEE was taken very wide. BABBLE raced poorly. SWEET CALL quit. ASSYRIAN PRINCE opened up a safe lead in the first five-eighths, then tired. RETAINER raced evenly.
