DADE PARKS LARGEST CROWD HENDERSON, Ky., Sept. 6. James C. Ellis was well, pleased with the crowd, that turned out for the Labor Day program. It I was the largest in the history of the course and spoke well for the popularity of the j sport in this practically virgin territory, jj" Mr.- Ellis said:. "I am yery grateful to the c people of western Kentucky, southern Indiana and southeastern Illinois for the way in which they have patronized Dade Park racing.- It always .has been my intention to give the very best racing possible and I believe that as times get better we will have meetings that will rank with the best in the ountry. Although Dade Park has always operated at a loss I have hopes that some day: the meetings will show a .profit and t6en i.will be. able, to completely rebuild the plant.
