CARA DOMUS, never far back and on the inside in the early stages, came up steadily after going to the outside in the stretch and, wearing down the leaders, won drawing out. RED CINDERS showed speed and held on gamely. RAFFLES CHANCE began fast, failed to withstand LUCILLE WRIGHT on the stretch turn, but regained command with a rush near the final eighth, then tired. MISS SPARKLING began slowly and raced well. LUCILLE WRIGHT began slowly, was rushed into a long lead, but quit badly and may benefit by the race. NEW BABY was outrun. LOUIE DEAR, well ridden and away fast, was under restraint when on the inside for three-eighths, then, taken to the outside entering the stretch, wore down the leaders and outlasted SARAZEN II. The latter, allowed to drop out of it, saved ground on the turn and closed with a rush. NUSAKAN raced TOMBEREAU into defeat and tired in the final drive. INFINITY was in close quarters in the stretch. ZONE appeared to bear in most of the way. TOMBEREAU, much used racing with NUSAKAN, tired after five-eighths.
