HAWTHORNE JUVENILE WORKS CICERO, 111., Aug. 14. Activity among candidates for Saturdays renewal of the ,000 added Hawthorne Juvenile Handicap, for two-year-olds, featured the morning training at Hawthorne yesterday and today. Sunday morning, J. F. Patterson worked the Audley Farms Signalman three-quarters in 1:14, and John Goode sent J. W. Parrishs New Deal a half mile in :48, while those active this morning included Cloud DOr, also ovned by the Audley Farm and which was sent five-eighths in 1:01, and the Dixi-ana quartet, Constant Wife, Far Star, Full Tilt and Artist Knight. Far Star breezed three-quarters in 1:18, while Constant Wife and Artist Knight went a similar distance in 1:16, handily, and Full Tilt was under strong driving to turn five-eighths in 1:01.
