1 CONEY ISLAND TURF NOTES J. W. Frye arrived from Thistle Down with Ormontime, Ogee and Peace Emblem. A. Easton sold Busy Ven to I. B. Fitzgerald and Kentucky Flyer to J. McShane. Frank Gering transferred Agatha and Perkins to Coney Island from Latonia and Henry McGarvey vanned over Captain Henry from that track. T. L. Pierce sent the two-year-old Red Forage to the Shandon Farm at Lexington. Gordon Morrow, who is distributing stake blanKS and condition books for the Rockingham Park fall meeting, reports a big demand for the stake blanks. Morrow expects a tig shipment from here to the New Hamj-bhire. track. Jockey W. Curran, who was suspended ten days for rough riding Friday, departed for Lade Park. W. D. Covingtons Side Step, which was cut iown in his race Friday, was destroyed. Jockeys F. Burley and L. Craver left for Dade Park. Among the stables to leave here for Dade Park were G. C. Hughes, Jack Howard,. C. P. Smith, E. J. OConnell and A. Bellew. The OConnell stable got away Saturday night Robert S. Shelley, who serves as racing secretary at Sportsmans Park and the Prairie States tracks, arrived in Louisville and will be here the first of the week to confer with horsemen in regard to stall accommodations for the fall meeting at Sportsmans Park.
