BILLY PAT followed ULTRA VOTE over soon after the start, drew clear under strong riding in the stretch, but failed to withstand the winner. SNOW PLAY was strongly urged in the final three-eighths and held on resolutely. CHIEF GERONIMO closed with a rush on the outside. SMUGGLED IN raced well. CHARLEY BRUCE tired. KISSIE, crowded back in the first quarter, did not recover. ULTRA VOTE swerved over soon after the start and tired after showing speed to the stretch. FARMER BOB swerved badly. CATHERINE FOX, on the inside early, was taken out in the final half mile and closed well under strong hand riding.
