LADY WORTHMORE, showing the most speed, went into command at once, raced mildly restrained to the stretch and, opening up a good lead, tired near the finish. FREETHINKER worked his way up on the inside and finished gamely on the outside of the winner. PERTOXICAL held on well and outlasted TAXI-MAN. The latter gained fast on the inside in the stretch. LOST SPIRIT raced evenly. YOUNG KITTY showed early speed. SABANA showed dull form. SEEMEGO, a factor from the start, shook off STEEL, but could not hold the winner. .MAEANTIC raced close up and finished gamely. CANTERBURY RAIN closed fast. ALEETA saved ground. AUTHORITY could not reach the leaders. STEEL showed much early speed. BUSHMAN closed fast on the outside. PAT GAIETY finished in very tight quarters. ATHOL was made entirely too much use of setting the pace. HAY-FIRE tired.
