I CLAIMS AND SALES $ : $ Two claims were filed with the clerk of the scales at Fort Erie Saturday. The highest amount was deposited for Royal Vintage, which was taken from the W. H. Wright stable by the Erindale Stable for ,000. Tho second claim took place when N. McLeod outshook A. J. Halliwell for the services of Major General, which went to his new stable for ,300. W. J. Waterman claimed Brandon Prince for 00 out of the first race at Connaught Park Monday, while W. C. Fox became the owner of Shady Girl for a like amount Mamas Choice was claimed by E. F. Seagram from T. Queen out of the final race at Saratoga Saturday for t500.
