WINN BACK IN CHICAGO CICERO, 111., Aug. 14. Upon his return today from. Wisconsin, where he enjoyed ten days of complete rest, the first vacation of more than a few days he has taken in several years, Col. M. J. Winn, executive director of Lincoln Fields, approved the program for the first nine days of the three weeks meeting opening at that course on September 4. No purse of less than 00 will be offered, and two races cf ,000 value each will be included among the usual eight races for other than days when a stakes event heads the card. Officials for the autumn meeting will be the same as served during the spring season. Charles F. Price, C. Bruce Head and T. C. Bradley will comprise the board of stewards, while W. H. Shelley, S. HI McMeekin and L. 0- Boganschutz are the placing judges. Harry Morrissey will direct the starting, and Shelley also acts as racing secretary.
