SEEKS REINSTATEMENT LEXINGTON Ky May 1 Edward Haughton arrived here from Texas last night and is attempting to enlist aid in his fight for reinstatement to the full privileges of the turf Haughton says he has never used narcotics on his horses but that at Hialeah Park he had in his stable tonics containing caffeine and strychnine He says that if Making Bubbles the horse whose saliva test brought about his ruling off at Hialeah had caffeine in his system it was administered in tonic form by his foreman Joe Tigue who has since died The rein ¬ statement of other horsemen ruled off by the Florida commission makes Haughton more hopeful of a change in the ruling against him
