SYRACUSE RIDING MATERIAL Majority of Jockeys Now at Fair Fairmount mount Park Plan to Ride at atNew New York State Track SYRACUSE N Y June 20 Many of the leading riders now participating in the Fair mount Park meeting liear St Louis will P perform here during the tenday campaign s starting July 4 4Frank Frank Hawley veteran custodian of jockey rooms who is now at Fairmount and is coin ing here following the close of that session has notified local officials that he is lining L up the riders for the eastern session arid l besides c Hank Manifold the sensation of t the Fairmount meeting those who will ride I here are M Knight T Reno J Hernandez J J Dyer W Boganowski C Mills L Wilson R Saber M Dupuy J W Frye W Lowe I D R Stuller R Tilden J Serio P Martinez 1 T Brennan and D Sykes With such a list of jockeys fans here are t assured of seeing good riding performances Knight is remembered as leading jockey of the country in 1929 and the following year he rode for J E Widener He still ranks As a topnotcher Reno Tilden Dyer and Wilson have been showing to exceptional advantage at Fairmount Dyer is second to Manifold in the race for the riding title A while Tilden Wilson and Reno are right be ¬ hind hindReno Reno has received the plaudits of St Louis j fans many times for his ability to bring home a horse which on form looked impos ¬ sible Among his long shot winners at that track were River Lee at 78 for 2 Monde at 58 for 2 and Vera D at 32 for 2i Reno is under contract to J Chesney ChesneyChesney Chesney incidentally headed a group of five more owners who announced their iri tions of comjng here Besides Chesney those who filed applications for stall room were J Molay G Nugent G F Jenkins and F Grande GrandeChesney Chesney has a fine string of horses in ¬ cluding Our Justice Annie N Jimmy N Linmast Amour and Rishi RishiJenkins Jenkins has Claremont Whisking Dunny Boy among others Nugent has Monde Bearcry Thomas Seth and Little Toots Morning Cry third in the Louisiana Derby this year heads F J Grandas string while Charmjng Sir leads the group owned by J MolayWith Molay With representatives at work at Charles Town Dayton and tracks in New York and Canada in addition to Fairmount applica ¬ tions for stabletroom are rolling in fast and officials are elated over the fine response which will assure plenty of material to make up some fine contests contestsPresident President Leo Dandurand has notified horsemen to ship to the New York State Fair Grounds via the New York Central
