Won driving; second and third the same. LADY LAURA moved up with a rush in the first eighth, worked her way up on the outside on the turn and, responding gamely to punishment, won in the last stride. BOBBY BUXTON held on more gamely than usual. BLACKBIRDER was badly outrun until leaving the back stretch, then closed a big gap. YENOOR moved up steadily, saved ground and continued well to the end. SUNADOR took the lead at once, but tired. DARK WINTER was unable ot reach the leaders under pressure. OLD DEPOT lost ground on the first turn. PIETY tired after five-eighths. Won driving; second and chird the same. INTEGRITY, well placed while avoiding the rapid early pace, moved up steadily in the last three eighths, went to the front in the stretch and held INHERITOR safe. The latter, outrun early, improved his position in the last half mile and closed with a rush. KINDACORN, under slight restraint early, was roused several times and, though unable to reach the leaders, outstayed BIFF at the finish. BIFF was used much in chasing the early pacemaker and weakened in the stretch run. CONDESCEND had good speed and drew away into a long lead, but quit badly. LEONIE tired.
