Apprentice Paul Clelland received his second suspension of the meeting for rough riding when he was set down for tha remainder of the meeting for cutting across sharply at the clubhouse turn in the sixth race Tuesday, causing a bad jam. Jockey George Seabo was forced to cancel his mounts in the seventh and eighth races Tuesday, when afflicted with a 1 j stomach disorder. J. F. Patterson, trainer of the Audley Farm 1 Stable, came to Latonia from Chicago by * plane to saddle Late Date for the Independence - Handicap. Jockey J. Kacala accompanied . him. Both were to return by air Wednesday night.
