1 FORT ERIE TURF NOTES | g « Trainer C. W. Damon, who has charge of the Elmtree Stable owned by Jacob Lang of Buffalo, has made plans to transfer the horses of that stable to Detroit. J. M. Buckland will ship Wichita City. Thistle Dick and two others to Detroit at the conclusion of the present meeting. Jockey T. Aimers suffered a bruised foot astride Ruskit on Monday and was forced to cancel his mounts for Tuesday. Aimers hopes to be back in the saddle as soon as the swelling subsides. J. P. Turner and his staff will open the secretarys office at an early hour on Friday to accept entries for the opening day of the Stamford Park meeting. J. H. Wood, who is racing a small string of useful horses on the Quebec circuit, was an arrival from Montreal. He will return for the Kings Park meeting. J. H. Smith arrived from Montreal and will take over the horses of the Riverdale Stable that are now quartered at Fort Erie. R. E. Richards has taken over the division of that stable which are being campaigned in Quebec. Arthur Hullcoat has made plans to ship to Hamilton. Johnny Hynes. who trained the Thorn-cliffe Stable racers for the past few seasons, has been engaged to handle the CL and C Stable. I
