1 DETROIT TURF NOTES ] $ $ Lon Jones brought the two-year-old Cross Ruff, Precious Betty and Gyana here. He turned out Fair Rochester until fall when he will return the son of For Fair to training. J. H. Tate, whose horses have been here for some time, is an arrival. Asa Harned is a visitor from Chicago. His horses are stabled at Arlington Park. Fred Morris, who has been assisting Harry Hart, while Hart was recovering from a broken ankle, will leave for Lexington this week. Jockey J. Burrill arrived from Mount Royal and will remain until the end of the meeting. Ross Higdon purchased Higher from C. Limerick and is sending the horse to his Oklahoma farm, where he will be placed in the stud next spring.
