ENDORSE SYRACUSE MEETING SYRACUSE, N. Y., July 18.— The race meeting of the Onondaga Jockey Club, recently concluded, was given the stamp of civic approval today when the common council endorsed the sport. Alderman George Easterly of the first ward introduced a resolution praising the meeting and urging another at the Fair Grounds track in the fall. The aldermen voted unanimously in favor of the resolution. Leo Dandurand, who with Joe Cattarinich sponsored the meet-I ing, will leave here tomorrow night to at-i tend the hearing before the New York I State Racing Commission in New York I Thursday..
