PONY RACE AT DETROIT DETROIT, Mich., July 20.— A stable pony race enlivened the gathering after the running of the sixth race. Eleven ponies raced three-sixteenths of a mile, and Godfrey Preeces Poison was the winner, with W. Emersons Rex H. second and the Wolverine Stables Limestone Belle third. R. Riley, who rode Limestone Belle, fell off shortly after the finish but escaped injury. The race was for a purse of 00, with 0 to the winner, 5 to second and 5 to third.
