] CLAIMS AND SALES j » — 1 Snaplock, which raced for S. Gorbet in the third race Friday at Arlington, changed h. nd3 when William Sachsenmaier took him out of the third race for ,200. T. C. Worden added Hope Eternal, winner of the fifth race, to his string when he took the two-year-old son of Eternal out for his entered price of ,250. The following claims were made at Empire City Thursday: Newgro, by F. C. Payne for ,200; Instigator, by H. Lingelbach for ,500; Palatine, by C. H. Knebelkamp for ,000. Claims at Rockingham Friday included Moralist, by Clyde E. Mathieu, for ,500, and Mild, by A. Bartelstein, for ,500. There were two claims in the sixth race at Detroit Friday. Mrs. S. Orr took Doris B. and Mrs. H. Woolsey acquired Raccoon. Both went for ,200. William Sachsenmaier registered his second claim of the day when he took Chartres, winner of the sixth race at Arlington Park Friday, for his entered price of ,000.
