HAMPTON COP ATTRACTS TEN Dark Secret Top Weight of Rockingham Park Handicap Field — Fleam and Roustabout Named. SALEM, N. H., July 20.— Ten of the original twenty nominees for the Hampton Cup Handicap, ,000 added, including the top weight horse, the Wheatley Stables Dark Secret, conqueror of the mighty Equipoise in The Jockey Club Gold Cup at Belmont, have accepted the weights assigned by secretary Jim Monroe and will go to the post in the one and one-eighth miles race that will feature the week-end card at Rockingham Park. Kurtsinger will have the mount on Dark Secret, which will carry 121 pounds, one pound more than the Belair Studs Faireno, which Stout will ride; three pounds more than A Bartelsteins sensational Rockingham winner, Teralice, which will have Schaefer up again, and four pounds more than F. A Griffiths Sarada, with C. E. Allen up under a 117-pound impost Hunter, who rode Collateral to a sensational stretch victory at Rockingham, .will, have the mount * again on the son of St Germans, which will carry 103 pounds. The other Cornelius Vanderbilt Whitney entry, Roustabout with Haines up, will carry 104 pounds. | Dick Howell will ride F. A. Carreaud s Sea Fox, the chestnut son of the great Man o War, which Monroe has assigned 106 pounds. Saunders is on the Belair Studs Fleam, which will have a 116-pound burden, and Walls will ride W. S. Kilmers Dark ! Winter, 112 pounds. The other Kilmer entry, j Sunador, only has been asked to carry ninety-five pounds and will have Helm up. Because of three previous winning races here, Teralice is almost certain to be well | backed. The son of Terry is named after j the great fighter, "Terrible Terry" McGov-ern, and Alice Harris, wife of Sam Harris, the theatrical impresario, who got his first start toward fame and fortune as manager of McGovern. | Harry Unna, trainer for A.
