1 KINGS PARK TURF NOTES ] $ dj W. J. Waterman arrived from Fort Erie with the; platers Pitchblende and Frigid Frosty and will remain in Quebec for the remainder of the season. Jockey A. Williams, J. Guerra, C. Hanauer, E. T. Moore and H. Gibson returned to Montreal from Syracuse for the Kings. Park meeting. A. L. Taylor of Kentucky, who has raced horses in .Canada for some time, has been stricken by serious stomach trouble and is at present in the Homeopathic Hospital and little hope is held for his recovery. Happy Hopes, recently acquired via the claiming route at Fort Erie by E. Seguin, arrived Friday morning. The C. M. Stable arrived earl- in the week from Syracuse with their crack campaigner, Learoyd, which met with mediocre success while away, although undefeated in his five previous starts while racing in Quebec. Other arrivals were the Joseph Cattarinich string, Mrs. L. A. Daly, J. Arthur, O. Viau and L. Sauer, with Airway, which was successful during the recent Syracuse meeting. The shipment included three carloads of will remain for the balance of the season. J. G. Fair purchased the Canadian-bred Running Shower from W. Darker and will send him to the farm in north Toronto. William Denham shipped his good campaigner, Coventry Queen, to the Empire City course in New York. The stable of Mrs. C. H. Conyers of Ottawa arrived in charge of trainer Thomas Savage. Mrs. J. P. Howard arrived with Barbarossa from Syracuse, N. Y.
