I Start good and slow.- Won easily; second and third driving. I LOVELY GIRL began fastest of all, disposed of BEAUFLOWER after five-sixteenths, drew away under light urging and won easily. BEAUFLOWER, under strong handling from the start, gave way to the winner,- but held on well. PELORIA, well up from the start, lost ground at the stretch turn, responded fast when, straightened and finished strongly. GLOWING COAL tired. HIGHDRY raced wide. The others were outrun. DON VERN, racing in his best form and on the outside, reached the lead nearing the final three-eighths,-was unable to draw clear, but withstood TWIDGETS. The latter, fractious at the post, worked her way forward steadily and was wearing down the winner at the end. KALOLA, a strong factor from the start, lost ground at the stretch turn, but held on well- JANE ELLEN, used up setting the pace, tired, rapidly in tha last eighth. MISS CAREFUL,-outrun for three-eighths, closed with a rush. BURNING UP made up ground. THE PELICAN, used up forcing the pace, quit under pressure. GLYNSON was outrun.
