t DETROIT TURF NOTES J : S J. P. Headley, former Kentucky sportsman, who has been racing in California for a number of years, arrived from Tanforan with Impeach, Ted Conard, Slapped, Bam-boula, Marition, Hasty Day, Publication, Plunge Home, Blaze Home and Zhwanee. J. C. Cahn brought eight horses here from Arlington Downs for the Summit View Stable of Sen. M. E. Casey. B. B. Rice arrived from San Antonio, with Back Fence, "War Plane, Flaming Light, Borsodi, My Surprise, Grey Hip, Olepal, Vicki and Lovely Mary. Bill Lutz brought Maple Hussy, Nell Kuhlman, Miss N. Con-Ian, Almadel, Jr., Lady Trust and Bill Lutz in the same car. Jockey Karl Horvath has entered the employ of the Willis Sharpe Kilmer and Fair Fields stables. The veteran H. Callahan, is here with the E. Sigman stable. He came from San Antonio. A car containing the horses of B. J. Hill and Irvine Kort arrived from Churchill Downs Thursday. The Hill horses, which are trained by Robert Bolton, are Hy-marque, Bourbon Prince, Pretty Maid, Highland Downs, Poet Prince and Gretna B. Kort brought Jodie K., Proud Princess, Speed Queen, Burning Billows, Heres Luck and Transform. Cycper, a juvenile son of Cyclops, died from, shipping fever. The youngster was the property of J. G, Angner. The Tranquility Farms Miss Capers injured herself when she crashed against the fence after being schooled from the barrier Thursday morning. J. D. Mikel arrived from his home at Car-lock, III., and took over the training of his horses, which arrived here from San Antonio several days ago. H. E. Wolfe, who arrived here from Dallas with the three-year-old Left Oyer, is receiving four horses from Churchill Downs. Marion Allen unloaded Eva B., Aurebon, Col. Hatfield, Black Flash, Miss Spectacle, Bostonian Gal and Copley Square. They came from Dallas in the car with H. A. Allens Nights End, Mad Bull and Reverberate. Claude Hunt vanned Rare Ben and Mt. Hood from Churchill Downs and F. D. Mc-Elroy checked in with H. A. Coulsons Toy-town and Wicess. The horses J. D. Mikel has here to carry his colors, those of W. A. Mikel and G. E. Ewins are: Silk Flag, Playing On, Sarazen II., Rizla, Scythe, Lugen Luggage, Elf Lock, Gold Step, Enro, Foolhardy, Flabbergast, Lamp Black, Burning Up and My Bane,
