1 WASHINGTON PARK NOTES f $ . S Harry Fink and Harry Lurie, betting commissioners for patrons on all the tracks operated by Robert S. Eddy and Joseph Cat-tarinich, remained for the opening here before entraining for Bainbridge Park, where they will serve the patrons by running their bets. Lurie and Fink have made a host of friends through their courteous service. Apprentice Martin L. Fallon, under contract to Mrs. R. J. Murphy and one of the most promising riding prospects developed in several years, departed Friday night for Lationa, where he will report to trainer Otis Clelland. L. Dilger is another which will cast his lot with the Ak-Sar-Ben Jockey Club and will ship his horses, comprised of Good Mary and Great Meadows, to the Omaha course Saturday. Apprentice J. Palumbo will go along with the horses. Jockey Johnny Leyland was absent from the saddle Friday, due to a badly bruised foot sustained in the sixth race at Aurora Thursday. Jockey Lewis Machado has signed to ride for "the Jewell Brothers and departed for Thorncliffe, Toronto, Friday night. The stable of Jewell Brothers will get away Saturday from Aurora.
