ANOTHER FOR SILVERETTE Registers Second Success of Beulah Park Meeting in Fridays Main Race. GROVE CITY, Ohio, May 24. E. E. Watts Silverette registered her second success of the present Beulah Park meeting, when she raced over Happy Scot and eventually wore down Grand Rock during the stretch drive, Of the Miller Oil Company Purse, best offering this afternoon. Mechanics Gold was just up in time to be third. The racing was conducted under favorable conditions, and a good crowd attended. Bun Nova disposed of the opposition handily after going half the way in the opening dash. June Bourbon only got up in the closing strides of the second race. King Belgian was hard pressed to stall off Overboard in the final stages of the third event. Jockey W. Ferrell made it a double when he brought Kathryn Wattle from behind in the last quarter to win the fourth race handily. Jockey C. Mills was suspended for five days by the stewards for rough riding in the first race. The suspension of jockey H. Manifold will terminate on Saturday and he will depart for Detroit to join the I. J. Collins stable on Monday.
