MOONSON S OPERATION SUCCESS LEXINGTON, Ky., April 1. Dr. N. E. Southard, of Louisville, assisted by Dr. N. L. Proctor, of Lexington, yesterday removed a very large stone from Moonsons bladder. Dr. Southard said it was the largest con- tacted in his experience. Trainer Harry S. Hart this morning said that Moonson appears much relieved and shows no ill effects of the operation. If infection can be avoided, Moonson will shortly recover, and by autumn1 he should return to the brilliant form he displayed as a two-year-old. Moonson is the property of Leo J. Marks, master of Le Mar Stock Farm. He was taken from Le Mar Stock Farm to the Kentucky experiment station of the University of Kentucky yesterday afternoon, and there put on the table for the operation. He was returned to Le Mar Stock Farm fit about 6 oclock.
