SEVEN CARLOADS FOR AURORA Biggest Shipment Leaving Fair Grounds Course Heads for Popular Fox Valley Track. NEW ORLEANS, La., April 1. Horsemen continued their trek northward Tuesday, with six carloads of horses being forwarded from the Fair Grounds. One car went to Louisville, one to Kansas City and four to Beulah Park, Columbus, Ohio. According to E. E. Minor, who is supervising the shipments for the Railway Express Agency, at- least seven cars were to leave today on a special train over the Illinois Central for Aurora, 111. This shipment is the largest to leave the track since the close of the meeting Sunday. In the car for shipment to Louisville were five head for J. F. Rector, three for H. Saladin, W. J. Marlmans three, and the Sherbrook Stables four. M. Glovers six, C. Williams four, J. Korts one; I. H. Burnetts three and G. W. Coffeys two made up the Kansas City shipment. Many different owners were represented in the shipment to Beulah Park. In one car were the horses of J. Money, W. Kempf, E. Stephens and H. D. Walker. In the second car were the racers of R. E. Spicer, R. Shaffer, R. Lewis, F. Stafford and J. Lessert. E. E. Watson, M. Saunders, M. Clous and A. Marullo shipped in the third car, while the fourth carried the colorbearers of Glen Gorbet, F. C. and E. J. Staehle and F. E. Turner. Many horsemen, especially local owners, have signified their intention of remaining here to rest their stables for several weeks before shipping to summer tracks, while others will remain in Louisiana for summer racing at a track near New Orleans. Most of the jockeys who rode here will head for Aurora during the week. Among those who left for the Illinois city are S. Pappio, D. R. Stuller, J. Frederick, D. E. Froggate, J. W. Frye, W. Lowe, N. Le Blanc, T. P. Martin, P. Martinez, W. Bradshaw, J. Donoho, J. Dobson, T. Dowell, J. Fontaine, W. Jackson and H. West.. Others have gone to Arlington Downs and will be seen in silks at Aurora after the close of that meeting.
