BONDHOLDERS GOOD NEWS All defaulted bonds of the forest preserve of Cook County are to be refunded with proceeds of the sale of ,838,750 in new bonds to Stifel, Nicholus and Co. by the forest preserve commissioners. The purchasing company made the only bid, and the transaction netted the taxpayers a profit of 38,-578.88, representing a price of 03.60 for each 00 bond.
