1 FOREIGN TURF NOTES 4 ® Joseph E. Wideners Pas Libre, which was bred by the American sportsman, won the Prix Miss Gladiator II., a produce stakes worth ,000 to the winner, at St. Cloud, France, Friday, April 17. Mr. Wideners colors also were victorious on Sunday, April 19, at Longchamps, when Fastout won the Prix Greffulhe, worth over 0,000 gross. On the same day Mr. Wideners daughter-in-law, Mrs. Peter Widener, carried off a minor event with Ambrose Light. The Aga Khan made an auspicious start for the season in winning the Rosebery Stakes at Kempton Park with his good colt * Theft, ridden by C. Smirke.
