"Buddy" Hirsch arrived from New j York with a string of four — Columbiana. On Approval, Exaggeration and Corker. Mose Lowenstein shipped in twenty-three head from Maryland Sunday. Leading hi3 I string at Narragansett are Hope to Do, Scat-I ter Brain, Bacon and Our Major. The Bee-i land Live Stock Company shipped in three j platers — Come On, Cold Spill and Clasp In. 1 They are being trained by J. T. Vaughan. W. C. Weant brought seventeen head from . Parmalee arrived from California with Cleaveland Putnams string of nine, including Ladysman, Pompeys Squaw, Running Heel, Nilus and several fine two-year-olds. W. H. Taylor reached Narragansett Park from Kentucky with three thoroughbreds — j Little Russell, Couleedam and the sensa-I tional two-year-old filly Planetoid.
