LOVELY GIRL DRIVING . Bomar Stable Representative Victorious in Mt. Clemens Handicap. Races Home in Front of Don Creole and Reaping in Detroits Feature Attraction. DETROIT, Mich., May 27. Lovely Girl, another representative from the locally-owned Bomar Stable of Charles A. Bohn and Peter A. Markey, was a driving winner of the Mt. Clemens Handicap, main attraction of the Detroit program this afternoon. Don Creole, from the Odessa Farms Stable and high weight of the field under 115 pounds in the wake of was second, a half length the winner and two and a half lengths before Mrs. A. M. In the stretch Reaping offered a strong bid, but tired steadily and, though he was best of the others, failed to menace the leaders Alit was never a factor, and Panic after relinquishing the lead. Relief quit badly Reaping enjoyed favoritism and the winner was third choice, Don Creole being next in demand. IDEAL RACING CONDITIONS. The light rain during the night left the track in good condition, but it moderated the weather, and conditions were ideal for the sport. Favorites and those held next in esteem were victorious in most instances and where they were not successful, the surprises were of the mild variety.
