POINTING FOR QUICKSTEP CICERO, 111., May 27 The Old Gold Stables speedster, Transmutable, will be shipped to Latonia to fulfill his engagement in the ,000 added Quickstep Handicap scheduled for Saturday at the Kentucky course, in the event that he comes out of his race in the Highland Park Purse at Hawthorne in good shape, according to trainer Otto Bagley. The four-year-old son of Transmute has been racing regularly since the start of the Illinois season and is reputed to be in tip top condition. Ike Weils Slim Rosie is another likely to make the trip to the Covington, Ky., course for the Quickstep.
