ROSELAKE, forced to race wide in the early stages, moved up steadily in the back stretch, responded gamely when urged, wore down CHEHALIS in the stretch and drew clear near the end. CHEHALIS, closest to the early pace, took a clear lead on the lower turn, held on well, but was not good enough. RUNMILTON raced well up for the first three-quarters, then tired. BOSTON COMMON, allowed to drop far back in the first half mile, was going well at the end. SCRAMBOLA showed early speed, but tired badly in the last quarter. Scratched 34405 Maudie M. M., 100. WASHINGTON broke fast, but was outrun early, moved up rapidly on the outside, closed gamely in the drive, wore down TRICKY MISS and was going away at the end. TRICKY MISS quickly raced IMA DREAMER into defeat, drew away into a good lead on the lower turn, held on well, but was not good enough. DR. McLARNEY, away slowly and far hack early, closed with a rush in the final quarter mile and finished gamely. IMA DREAMER showed brief early speed. SCROLL, well placed in the early running, finished gamely in the stretch. EFJAYBE, close up early, made a game bid entering the stretch, but tired badly in the drive. CAPTAIN DANGER, well laced in the early running, was tiring at the end and just lasted for the show. ULTRA VOTE was going camely at the end. HABANERO, allowed to drop back in the first half mile, closed well. RIA NARA was given a weird ride, her rider standing straight up in his stirrups all the way. HOPE ETERNAL moved up steadily on the inside, appeared in front briefly on the lower turn, was in close quarters a sixteenth out and lacked racing room in the final sixteenth.
