SISTER JEAN, close to the pace for the entire trip, finished gamely under punishment. FORCED LANDING was under stout restraint for. a half mile, then flattened out when put to a drive thereafter. SHADY WOOD improved his position while racing on the extreme outside and closed with a rush. STORM ANGEL was prominent throughout, but tired when punished severely in the last three-eighths. CALEB displayed his usual burst of early speed, but tired after three-quarters. ODDESA BEAU closed strongly. LUCY was hemmed in on the rail in the closing stages.
