LARGE CROWD AT RIVERSIDE Roselake Surprises in Initial-Event on Program "Daily Double" Pays 08.20. KANSAS CITY, Mo., Oct. 3. Saturdays racing at Riverside Park was conducted under ideal conditions. With a return to warm weather one of the largest crowds of the meeting turned out to witness one of the best programs carded at the meeting. Eight well filled and balanced races were the half-holiday offering, which for the first time this week were decided over a track that was almost fast. The sixth race, named the Floyd Logan Handicap, the feature, was framed for all ages and eleven accepted. The Coward and Coffman entry of Heart Break and Reelon ruled the early choice but Hope Eternal, from the Worden stable, was expected to furnish stiff competition for Heart Break.
