CREES AND McCOWN SHIP TO TANF0RAN SUNDAY CRETE, 111., Oct 3. In a car due to leave here Sunday, the horses trained by W. Crees and E. McCown will be shipped to Tanforan for the meeting there. In Crees care are Tracker, Upholder, Tankie and Ozana, owned by Mrs. M. Sheppard, and Theorem, the property of H. C. McConnell. Miss Balko, Barbara A. and Bohemian Lass are the three which race in the interests of Mrs. McCown. McConnells Dark Tyrant, whicn rapped himself several days ago and developed blood poisoning, is to be left here in charge of A. Swenke and will be sent west later. Red Qulbbler and Quite, also owned by McConnell, are to be turned out at that patrons farm at Grand River, Iowa. Apprentice E. Phillips will go along with the Crees establishment, and jockey D. McCown with that of his parents.
