WILLIAM HARRIS, RIVERSIDE OFFICIAL, PASSES AWAY KANSAS CITY, Mo., Oct. 3. Starter William "Micky" Harris, who was substituting for Arthur McKnight during the early part of the meeting, died at the Research Hospital here this afternoon. Harris was rushed to the hospital last Sunday when he suffered a ruptured intestine and an emergency operation was performed. Harris failed to gain strength during the week and last night another operation was necessary but his strength was not great enough to overcome the ailment and early this morning doctors gave up hope of saving his life. Harris who made his home at Louisville, Ky., is survived by his widow. Arrangements .have not been made for the funeral as yet
