ENTREE, closest to the early pace while saving ground, was sent up on the inside in the stretch under strong handling to draw out steadily in the final sixteenth. MISS LIZZIE set a steady pace from the start, came out slightly entering the stretch and held on well. OUR WILLIE, on the outside of the winner while in close attendance, was put to punishment approaching the stretch, but tired in the final eighth. LUCKY FOOT followed WHATWAY as the latter bore out badly at the final turn and, continuing to bear out through the stretch, just failed to get up for third place. DESGAI was slow to settle into her stride, moved up steadily between horses and closed strongly. JOHN ALLEN, on the outside throughout, tired in the final three-sixteenths. SHATTERPROOF, under steady restraint early, advanced steadily between horses in the final quarter under strong handling. AMATEUR GIRL had fine speed from the start, was caught in close quarters at the far turn between PERLETTE and PROPH and was eased back, came wide entering the stretch and closed very fast. PROPH was hustled along to keep up and raced on the outside throughout, tiring near the end EAGLE PASS lacked early speed.
