PARITY had speed from the start, opened up a good lead while under steadying restraint, permitted BIBBIES CHOICE to move to him in the stretch, then drew out again. BIBBIES CHOICE, in nearest pursuit of the pace from the start, moved up on the inside entering the stretch, but was not good enouh for the winner in the closing test. BLACKMAIL was outrun for the first three-eighths, then closed a big gap there, after. DEMONSTRATION could never enter into serious contention. ITSIE BITSIE raced at an even pace throughout. CARMINOWE, showing a decided liking for the going, withstood .determined early opposition from .GLYNNA, drew out and was well out in the track through the stretch, but lasted to hold FAIR DEAL. The latter, badly outpaced for the first three eighths, came through on the inside of the leaders at the stretch turn, closed with good energy and just missed getting up. CHARACTER was well placed throughout, though he lost much ground, but continued gamely to the end. BOGERTIN was an early trailer, but made up much ground in the final three-eighths. DISPELLER, prominent from the start, withstood determined early opposition from MARY STENSON, shook her off after leaving the back stretch, opened up good lead and was ridden out sharply to the end, but was never threatened. MR. QUICK met tome interference at the first turn, moved up gradually in the last half mile and finished with good energy. LUNA MICA was outpaced for the first half mile, then closed considerable ground in the last three eighths. STAR FIRE was badly outrun early, moved into contention with a rush, but was unable to improve her position under punishment in the stretch run. MISS BELIZE finished with a belated rush. DEADEYE DICK and MARY STENSON quit badly. HOME WORK was never a factor.
