REFUNDS ON BETTYS BUDDY LAUREL. Md., Oct. 17. While being on parade in the paddock prior to the running of the Maryland Futurity, Bettys Buddy, unbeaten two-year-old in the Mrs. J. Bosley, Jr., stable, bucked his shins and he was withdrawn from the race upon the advice of the track veterinarian. Betting was in j progress at the time and refunds were I made.
