NO ACTION QN TEXAS RACING REPEAL BILL AUSTIN. Texas. March 31. The Texas senate adjourned early this afternoon without having taken up the Bradbury racing repeal bill, which repealists expected to vote on for the last time today. It was found to be so far down in the order of legislative events that no attempt was made to advance it. There are, in fact, sixty-two bills ahead of the Bradbury on the senate calendar, due to lack of progress on some of the other controversial issues before the legislature and some of the sixty-two are going to take up lots of time. There now is discussion of another special session to follow the present one, which has forty-two days to run, so congested is the calendar. But for the fact that more than a month remains, racing forces would be hopeful that postponements of a final vote might save the situation in which the sport finds Itself.
