MARYLAND HALF-MILER DATES Marlboro, Belair, Timonium and Cumberland Officials Agree on Schedule for Season. BALTIMORE, Md., March 31. Representatives of Marlboro, Belair, Timonium and Cumberland, half-mile race tracks, met here and agreed on tentative dates for their fall meeting. The various half-mile tracks agreed to ask the Maryland racing commission for the following fall dates: Belair July 27 to August 2, five days; August 3 to August 7, five days. Cumberland August 10 to August 14, five days. August 17 to August 21, five days. Marlboro August 24 to August 28, five days; August 31 to September 4, five days. Timonium September 6 to September 16, ten days. Heretofore, Timonium always closed its fall season on a Saturday, but agreed to wind up this years meeting on Thursday, September 16, in order to avoid conflict with the opening of the major fall season the following day at Havre de Grace. The deal for the Belair track is still said to be hanging fire. E. K. Bryson, of this city, is endeavoring to purchase the plant, while another group of Baltimoreans are also endeavoring to gain control.
