SPEED HOME raced to the front at once and, iWstanding a hard stretch drive gamely, barely missed. KUMSIS raced wide, but closed ground. SILVER W PALM was badly outrun to the stretch, then closed some ground, but was never a serious threat. PEP TALK tired in the stretch. GLAD WINGS had early speed. HAPPY BOLIVAR raced to the front soon after the start and, withstanding several challenges from ROCKWOOD in the last half mile, held the latter safe to the end in a drive. ROCKWOOD got through on the inside on the far turn td reach contention and, continuing near the rail, raced gamely to the finish. HOME LOAN made up much ground in the middle of the track. MARV also closed ground after getting free of interference. SEA CLIFF probably needed the race. KENT tired. BELOW ZERO was in close quarters and dropped back, but came again near the end. McCARTHY, well rated while saving ground in the early stages, continued gamely after being forced to the rail by PORTDEN in the stretch and, getting through on the inside of UNCLE FRED in the last eighth, won drawing away. UNCLE FRED headed the field when BAHAMAS tired and raced fairly well to the end. WHICHAWAY closed some ground when urged. LAW SUIT raced wide and was never a serious threat, but finished fairly well. APPRENTICE was the victim of too much rating. PORTDEN was all over the track, but had speed. SICKLEBILL dropped far out of it early and was never a dangerous contender. SEVENTH RACE 1 1-8 MILES. DUNDREARY, always well up, had little trouble going to the front when ready and drew out in the stretch. PRIMROSE DAY was always a forward factor and raced gamely to the end. PIPES PAL opened up a long lead in the early running, but tired badly in the stretch. STAR BROOK could not improve his position and showed a dull effort.
