The latter, taken back off the pace, raced through a narrow opening at the stretch turn, where he took the lead, but could not withstand the winner. BLESSED AGAIN responded welt to urging, moved up threateningly approaching the final quarter, then faltered in the last seventy yards. STEPINANNA tired in the drive. The latter improved her position with a rush after going three-quarters and finished fastest. SUSAN HAY was pinched back soon after the start, was taken to the inside and, improving her position steadily, showed a good effort. GREYBROOM was prominent throughout, but swerved in the stretch.
